After a lesson on infographics, student journalists developed this graphic which stood alone as the reporting for the fourth game of the 2017 football season. I was pleased with the work put into the cutout of the quarterback, but less than pleased with the “wordart” looking headline. Still, it was a fun, alternate way to report on another loss.

Students surveyed the student body, then used a spreadsheet to build the circle graph before adding icons form social media platforms. The headline fonts were a student choice.

A recurring module in the 2016 yearbook was the use of a “numbers” mod. I like the use of special characters and overlapping numbers to break up the monotony of just another list of numbers.

This module was inspired by an advertisement at a bus stop students saw on the streets of Manhattan. One of my favorite parts of advising is getting to know students better as individuals during trips to conventions.
